The Vikings, the Scandinavic seamen who invade Europe in the Middle Ages from the 8th century to the 10th are refered to, yearly, in a great local fiesta in Wolin (located on a island with the same name) in the Baltic sea near Poland seashore.
The tree days festival emphesis the Middle Age battle atosphere in the Slavic and Viking culture. Contests and simulation battles, Viking style, take place side by side with traditional weapons and traditional cloths exhibitions.
Due to the numerous visitors during the festival days and the high demand for accommodations it is recommended to check hotel rates and book rooms well in advance.
The atmosphere of the festival creates a feeling of voyage in time to the Viking invasion piriod. A great experience is guaranteed to adults and children.

Should not be missed
Even this summer, like last year we went to Wolin especially from Sweden, my wife, I and our young son. It was an amazing event, unbelievable how we were returned back in time, the festival was wonderful.
